Project Uplift, a special program that enables high-achieving rising seniors to experience college life on the Carolina campus, is currently accepting applications for the summer 2010 session. If you rank in the top 25% of their class, be enrolled in a curriculum that includes AP course(s), foreign language, and advanced mathematics, and show active involvement in extracurricular and leadership activities please see Ms. Alston in the Counseling Center for more information and applications.

The ACT scheduled for 2/5/10 at Western High School has been postponed until 2/13/10. All admission tickets with the original date of 2/5/10 will be accepted for the 2/13/10 date.

Spring sports start on Monday February 15^th.  If you are interested in trying out please see the coach of the sport you want to tryout.  A completed physical must be on file before participating.  You must also be eligible by passing at least 3 courses last semester and not missing more than 13 days last semester.
